We also acknowledge some clients only need design assistance, hence the need for smaller design packages.

Initial consultation:
PERSONALISED, IN-HOME INTERIOR DESIGN CONSULTATION
At Studio McQueen, we love helping busy families who don’t have the time to research and organise a renovation. We understand that not only does the renovation need to look beautiful, it’s also important that the project adds value to the family home while keeping under budget and within timeframes.
Studio McQueen’s inital consultation, are perfect for anyone looking for some design guidance so they can undertake the work themselves as a DIY. This stage can also be the first step in a full-service or smaller design package, where Studio McQueen is engaged to design and manage the project through to completion alongside the builder/trades.
For $395, including GST, one of Studio McQueen’s talented interior designers will visit you in your home to establish a connection with you, your lifestyle and your space. From this initial design meeting, we’ll create a brief board and design direction.
*Please note, if you’re more than 35mins from 6157 there may be an extra travel charge. Also, hours are not transferable, so please make sure you have a list of questions you would like to discuss.
The Process of the In-Home Consultation
Prior to the consultation, we will:
♦ Have a 20-minute discovery call.
♦ Set up a collaboration board on Pinterest, so you can add certain images you love, and we can determine the style and level of finish you’re seeking.
♦ Consider your budget, so we can make sure your Pinterest board images match your budget expectations.
After the home consultation, you will:
♦ Receive a scope checklist of design work and renovation work to be done
♦ Receive a proposed visual moodboard of the design direction you’re visualising
♦ Receive a proposal of design fees and an estimate of hours to undertake the design selections of the home renovation. If required, you’ll also receive an estimate of proposed furniture and styling allowance. This proposal also includes information about the design process and stages we need to undertake.
♦ If readable existing plans are available, these will be sent off with a scope checklist to a builder, to get a builder’s estimate.

INTERIOR DESIGN PACKAGE

Our hourly Interior design package is a great option for anyone needing a designer’s input to work out the details of your project. We can utilise the time in any combo of ways: furniture floor plans, sourcing furniture to tiles/ materials selections for building prestarts. This is perfect for clients building a new home and just needs overall design direction, but are happy to implement all the finer details themselves.
