KITCHEN RENOVATION – BOYA, PERTH WA
The kitchen required the existing floor level to be extended, to increase the size of the existing Kitchen.
LOCATION
Boya, Perth Western Australia
PROJECT FOCUS
The Kitchen increased in size, by extending the tiled floor level and deleting a sliding door approx where the cooktop area currently is. A curved benchtop was utilised to see the views towards living area, and around a garden boulder area below.

The Process
The clients were after a farmhouse feel, yet modern take on the kitchen area. We opted for hampton style shaker cabinet door profile in a warm white and a warm green to fridge recess area. The benchtop and splashback is of a natural stone Granite with white tones and slight veining.
I suggested sandbag and painting the face-brick walls to white, backing against the kitchen, to help tone down the mix of textures. Then darker grey tone tiles help ground the design.
