KITCHEN RENOVATION – WOODLANDS
The kitchen required a removal of a structural wall, near the back wall exit and a new skylight.
LOCATION
Woodlands, Perth Western Australia
PROJECT FOCUS
The Kitchen involved opening up the layout to give the space more width to allow for an island bench. Retaining the character of the home, we kept the vintage jarrah floorrboards and high ceilings with addition of bulkheads above cabinets and new cornicing to match the era of the home.

The Process
The clients were after an industrial yet modern take on the kitchen. We opted for hampton style shaker cabinet door profile in a warm white. Using a mix of engineered quartz stone top benchtops to the working area of the kitcchen. The clients were after a warmer rustic benchtop to the island, mainly because they loved the timber one they previously had, we opted for American Oak and carried it through the view window surround and timber shelves.
The Mercator Light fittings, black handles and the new barn doors add an element of industrial without being too heavy.
